OPI 'Blue Moon Lagoon'

Today's post is dedicated to another HTF that I found at a beauty supply store. It's OPI's 'Blue Moon Lagoon' from OPI's Summer For Shore collection in 2003. I honestly didn't think I would ever find this so I wasn't actively looking for it.

'Blue Moon Lagoon' is a light blue holo. I'm head over heels in love with this. It's amazing. Even when not direct sunlight you can see the holo. I could only get one sunlight photo because the weather in NY last week was rainy. As soon as the sun came out I jumped on the opportunity.

This polish is pretty sheer, so I needed 4 coats for the swatches below. I hate doing 3 coats so I'm definitely not a fan of 4, but the payoff is excellent so I don't mind the extra dry time.

I do have one bottle up for sale on my 'Blog Sale' page. If you are interested check it out.
Thanks for stopping by!

  2. The whole Summer for Shore collection is holo.
Why don't they make polish like this anymore? The closest we got was Tronica. OPI hasn't done any except the DS.

  3. Such a gorgeous polish! This collection is one of OPI's best. I wish they would rerelease it so badly, though I'm not sure if these would work with the new B3F formulation. *drools over the beautiful blue holo goodness*

  4. I would think that they would be able to make it work even with the B3F formula. They have the DS polishes which are similar....
