Twinsie Tuesday - Most Hated/Unflattering Polish

Good morning ladies! Happy first day of May! Today's Twinsie Tuesday topic is our most hated/unflattering polish. Two polishes came to mind. Color Club Earthy Angel and OPI Warm & Fozzie. Due to the fact I was able to wear Warm & Fozzie out in public, I had to go with Earthy Angel. Both times I swatched Earthy Angel I immediately removed it.
I love Color Club. I'm always impressed by their polishes between colors, pricing and formula (with the exception of their Backstage Pass collection lol). When I saw swatches of Earthy Angel I knew I had to have it. It looked great on everyone. On my skin tone, this is a FAIL!

This is all wrong. It doesn't work for me, doesn't work on me, nothing. I pretty much hate it. I swear it's even worse in real life. It is almost vomit inducing. I'm not even sure how to describe this color on me....nude with hints of caramel and blush? I don't necessarily care for it long enough to look at it and decide what color it is. The unfortunate part of this color is the formula was great. Oh well, you can't love them all.

What's your most hated/unflattering polish?
Does anyone else dislike Earthy Angel the way I do?

Don't forget to check out the other Twinsie Tuesday ladies. I'm curious to see what their picks are for this theme. Also we have two new ladies to welcome, Cordia and Tara so don't forget to check them out!

  2. I actually got rid of my Earthy Angel which I won in a giveaway...I just saw it in the bottle and was like, um, no.

  4. This is on my dislikes list, too. I don't think I ever even bothered to swatch it, before it was sent away :O)

  5. Cult Nails Cruisin' Nude is probably my most unflattering polish. It has a greenish undertone that looks just ghastly on me.

    1. When I saw the swatches of Cruisin' Nude I knew right away it wouldn't work for me. A green undertone with a nude polish sounds awful lol

  8. What Sarah said. Nudes are either a hit or miss. And this one sadly was a miss, LOL.

  13. I can see what you mean. It just doesn't work with your skin tone. I have this problem too with certain polishes!

  15. I don't think the colour is horrible. But it sort of looks... off on you. If that makes sense :P

  16. Aww, I LOVE Warm and Fozzie so much! But Earthy Angel is pretty nasty haha. I don't like the rose-y colors at all and they never work on me either.

    1. I like Warm & Fozzie too, but have not worn it all that much - things nail wise for me change so fast after holiday is done and I don't even want to look at holiday anything until fall again.

    2. Oh except for the few (now) GREAT holiday reds. I so miss the real holiday OPI collections. 2 yrs and counting and don't think we will get one this yr either. I guess they as a company decided they had done it all - needed to give it a rest - or possibly it's just not politically correct to do a holiday collection now?

  17. Agree - this is really bad. I tried to think what skin tone it might look OK on - maybe a really deep tone person? They put too much pink in this one.
