Mattese Elite Nutty Hat Guy

Morning! Today's post features what was supposed to be a dupe for the much sought after Mad As a Hatter. I missed out on OPI's Mad As A Hatter when it was originally released, I had a case of glitterphobia. I had read about Mattese Elite coming out with a dupe, and when I saw this at the Ricky's NYC in Astoria I grabbed it.

Nutty Hat Guy (LOL @ the name) is pretty, but it's not a dead on dupe to MAAH. In the bottle the glitter is lavender, silver, red and green. On the nail, it's very bright and the silver/lavender really stand out. Formula was great and easy to work with, it was opaque in 2 coats. It's much brighter than MAAH, and is missing the yellow and blue glitter pieces.

While this is gorgeous, I obsessed over the MAAH swatches and eventually caved in. I'm expecting my package any day now. I paid approximately $37 :::faints:::  I'm hoping that I won't regret it, because I feel like if I don't buy it now I will never get it.
