Spam Post - The Last of my Lynnderellas (Boy Girl Party, Attitude Adjust-ment, Forget You Not, Heart Strings, Shape Shifter, Love Lace and Lilacs, Lovey Dovey, Mlle Violette de Bleu, Sweets to Sweet)

Good morning! I went through my swatch photo folder last night, and I've had some of these swatches since at least April. I wasn't 100% in love these swatches, but then all of the Lynn drama went down and I was unsure if I wanted to post these or not. Since things have seemed to calm down, I figured I would post these for those people who still enjoy Lynnderella polishes.

While Lynnderella creates pretty polishes, I am no longer a supporter or purchasing her polishes. With all of the drama that went down I would prefer to spend my money elsewhere. Plus, the price jump to $20 each and the fact you can't purchase them individually means you have to spend $300.00 if you want the new collection. I won't even go into what I think of the LE polishes that are going for $600, $800, $1000+. I only have 1 Lynnderella left in my stash, which I plan on letting go of shortly. I'll stop at that before this turns into a rant....lol

Lynnderella Boy Girl Party over China Glaze Fly

Lynnderella Attitude Adjust-ment over OPI Gargantuan Green Grape

Lynnderella Forget You Not over Essie Smooth Sailing

Lynnderella Heart Strings over Essie Jam n Jelly  (Just an FYI - this was borrowed from my best friend who received this as a gift, I never owned this one)

Lynnderella Shape Shifter over Zoya Wednesday

Lynnderella Love Lace Lilacs over Zoya Elodie (the Zoya is not color accurate!)

Lynnderella Lovey Dovey  (I can't remember the base, sorry!)

Lynnderella Mlle Violette de Bleu over Revlon Royal

Lynnderella Sweets to Sweet over Essie Turquoise and Caicos

The end.

Lynnderella Nosegay

Happy Monday! I hope everyone had a good weekend. I had a super productive Sunday. We went out to dinner for Father's Day, I gave my dog a hair cut, cleaned my bird's cage and scrubbed every inch of my car until it was sparkling like new.....but broke three nails while in the process. :::womp womp:::  Today I have a special mani for you, it's another Lynnderella. I realized that the wish lists are going to be opening again soon and I still have a few sitting in my untrieds. I'm supposed to be on a strict no buy, but once I see the new Lynnderella collection I may have to lift it temporarily.

Nosegay is one of my favorite Lynnderellas. I looked at quite a few different bases and wound up picking Essie's St Lucia Lilac because it was closest to the base color in Nosegay. I used 2 coats of St Lucia Lilac and a coat of Nosegay. The formula on this was excellent and glitter placement was super easy due to how dense the glitter is in the polish. WIN!

My pictures may look a little repetitive, but I couldn't cut any so here we go.....

If you are unsure about this one, I'd definitely say it's a go! I do find that some of my Lynnderella manicures don't look 'fresh' after a day. I do find that some of them chip very easily. Nosegay wore like iron for me. I wore this during my weekend getaway to Washington DC, and from Thursday night to Sunday evening I had not one chip. Double WIN!

Lynnderella Mercurial

Good Morning! Today I have swatches of Lynnderella Mercurial for you. This was one of my biggest lemmings and one of the first polishes I tried when I received my Llarowe order a few weeks back.

Mercurial consists of different size and shape silver, gunmetal, black and lavender purple glitter in a slightly tinted gray base. Formula was decent, with the exception of the large silver hex glitter. The large hex pieces curled and wouldn't stay down no matter how long I held them down flat during dry time. I took a macro shot of the hex glitter so you can see what I'm referring to. I actually left the hex glitter in place for the photos and picked it off later. I removed the hex glitter from my (unphotographed) right hand during application.

The photos below show two coats of Mercurial over China Glaze Concrete Catwalk...

Damn you curly hex glitter! lol

I wish I had chosen a different base for this, this seems too matchy-matchy for my liking.

Don't forget to check out my new *Blog Sale* page. I looked at my old stash list and I must be around at least 800/850/900 bottles by now. I NEED to unload! I'm too scared to actually count lol.

Lynnderella Cauldron Drippings

I'm back today with the layering mani I spoke about yesterday. I started with two coats of OPI A Roll in The Hague and topped it off with two coats of Lynnderella's Cauldron Drippings. I can't say enough about this mani, so I'm just going to get straight to the photos....

I'm in love. There's so much going on, but it all falls together just perfectly.

I know not everyone loves Lynnderella polishes or the drama surrounding them. While I don't enjoy the drama that was created (mainly through Facebook, IMO) I really do love these polishes. What is your opinion on Lynnderella polishes?

March's Haul

Good Morning! I can't believe it's April already!!!  I've been really good with the "low-buy" that I put myself since January. I've come to understand that I don't need every single bottle of nail polish that I like. With that being said, March was the month of the indie polish haul lol. Indie polish seems to be the newest phenomenon and while I like most of what I see, I'm trying to refrain from buying. I've loved Lynnderella since before she even got hooked up with Llarowe, and I've recently been STALKING trying to get polishes from Amy at I'm Feeling Nail Venturous. Her polishes are hands down some of the best I've seen.

With that being said, it's photo time for the hauls.....

From NinjaPolish.com:

Jessica Iridescent Eye (dead on Chanel Peridot dupe), Nail Venturous Floam, Nail Venturous Orange You Unique?

I'm in LOVE with Floam. No joke, I've worn it three times since I've gotten it. I have photos and I plan to post super soon. Floam is so great that it's cutting the line in regards to backlogged swatches. I'm a little unsure about Orange You Unique, the base looks a little funky. My boyfriend saw the bottle and instantly hated it. I'm dying to get my hands on a bottle of Humble Bee. Humble Bee may be my biggest lemming right now.

And now time for my Llarowe/Lynn haul. My last name happens to fall at the end of the alphabet. All through school I had to wait for almost every single person in the classroom to be called for attendance before my name was called. At work, when handing out pay stubs they go in alphabetical order.  To this day I'm still waiting for things due to where my last name falls in the alphabet. When Llarowe announced how she would be handling the wish list filling for the Lynnderella polishes, I almost died. I had a feeling that I would be on the second rotation where she started at Z and worked her way forward.

I waited patiently as she filled the first rotation. I tried to keep it off my mind as much as possible. I expected to get a few polishes when she finally got to the second rotation. When I got my invoice I literally yelled "YES!" out loud in the middle of my house. While my wallet cringed, I rejoiced lol.

My Lynnderella haul.....
(three of these were bought for me by a friend, but I received them around the same time so I included them)

Gigantic! Only half fit in my mailbox, the other half was hanging out. The USPS guy was lucky this wasn't stolen or it didn't rain. I would have killed someone.

Not the best photos, but you get the idea. I've only worn Mercurial so far.  I'm having a hard time deciding what order to wear them, and what to layer them over. I have some ideas, but nothing set in stone. As much as I love my Lynns they are so difficult to remove. Even with the foil method it's about 10-15 minutes, so I leave these for weekend wear this way if I put them on Thursday night they are lifting by Sunday night lol.
